We here at FindMySoft are quite familiar with the software applications developed by Avnex, company founded about 9 years ago that specializes in the development and distribution of audio and video morphing software. So far we’ve covered two Avnex-developed applications; and now we will cover a third.

In the past we’ve covered AV Voice Changer, an application that can make your voice sound cool or incredibly funny. This application can be used in real-time with your favorite IM client or game. And we’ve covered AV Video Morpher, an application that allows you to edit and morph videos, play and convert videos, and burn videos to CDs or DVDs.

Today we shift focus on AV Webcam Morpher, an application that works well with a big bunch of video chat programs, including Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and Camfrog. What this application does is allow you to modify your webcam’s output – this is to say you can change what the person viewing your webcam sees. With AV Webcam Morpher you can add a cool background to the webcam image, you can apply audio effects, and you can apply video effects.

Furthermore, you can use AV Webcam Morpher to capture incoming webcam images as well as outgoing webcam images.

The functionality that AV Webcam Morpher provides does not stop here. AV Webcam Morpher will make it seem like you have a webcam, even if you don’t. The application will simulate a webcam broadcast via a feature called nickfaces. There are pre-made nickfaces you could use, or you could create your own nickfaces.

There are two versions of AV Webcam Morpher available for you to use. There’s AV Webcam Morpher Fee edition, which is offered free of charge but is not feature-complete. Then there’s AV Webcam Morpher Pro, which is feature-complete but is not free.
